There are so many, many many. Two oddballs come to mind..."It's all over now" by the Valentino's on SAR ,actually Bobby Womack's group, fab harmony and guitar bass and drums driven. This was covered by the Rolling Stones on one of the early lp's.One of my "Bomb Shelter" discs would have to be The Joe Tex cover of Roger Miller's "King of the Road" on Dial records. So unusual in the 60's to have a Black RnB artist cover a country hit.He did some country covers, but this one is the killer.Maybe in the top ten is his "Show Me",a huge hit, great arrangement. He was sooooooooo great!
