I'm selling my Pioneer TX-9800.
The TX-9800 is one of the finest analog tuners ever built. The FM section has a 5-gang 5 filter front end. It also has a reference oscillator that automatically fine-tunes the tuner once the user lets go of the tuning knob. This results in both great sound, and a tuner that can seek out and hold distant radio stations even in a crowded radio environment. The AM section is nearly equal to the FM side given the limitations of AM sound in the pre-AM-stereo era.
The condition of the 9800 is good, but not perfect. The left and right sides of the case has some blemishes and a small gouge at the bottom front. (I took a pic of it so you could see, more pics are available upon request)
The rest of the case is nice. Top is perfect. The face plate is really good with only very minor marks on it and I mean minor. All lights work and the reception of the tuner is excellent. Stations come in very strong.
