Does anyone know anything about these preamps, or this company?  It looks like some guy building stuff in his garage and selling it on ebay.  I wonder if it is any good.  Could be a great deal or a poor design.

I found Aric Audio on Ebay too.  This post is the only reference I can find here at AC, so I thought I'd drag it out again in hopes someone has listened to it.

Aric has spent most of his forum time on the Parts Express forum.  I have not seen him there for a while.  I believe he has been building equipment for several years while still holding down a full time job.  After a serious health problem where he was unable to work outside the home he ramped it up on the work at home venture.  I have talked with him by email and on the PE board.  I would not be afraid to buy something from him.

Thanks for the response, Howard.  I guess I'll try contacting him too.  I'm not qualified to judge his work by what I've read, and would love to hear from someone who has heard one of his extremely affordable tube preamps.
