QSO 626 SE question

Hey guys,
In the 626 SE there is a choice of drivers. Which driver would be better. The fiberglass cone or the carbon fiber cone? I dont care about sheilded issues.

Hi Joe,

The MegaWoofer (Woven Carbon Fiber) is certainly the best woofer for the 626 and the only reason to use the fiberglass is if you plan on using the speaker close to a direct view tube TV and it needs magnetic shielding.

While I would suggest saving a few more dollars and getting the 626R, I think Brian would still build a 626SE for you.

What are the advantages to the R (ribbon) version?
