Connecting two Power Cords
« on: 21 Feb 2008, 11:40 pm »
I have two power cords one about 3ft. long and another about 7ft. long.  Is there an adapter that can connect the two power cords together so that it could effectively be a 10ft. power cord?  Thanks

I have such an adapter.  The one I have is made by WELL SHIN.  The problem is I bought this years ago over the internet from some small company I have never heard of and I can't find a link to it.

The info to go by printed on the adapter is:
WELL SHIN
ADAP, WS-089
5G00
E161470
LISTED
10A 125V~

Google IEC adaptor and you'll find some options.

Here a link to one.  3 bucks.  It's a cheap way to make an extention cord.  :)
