An aside: Zhaolu DAC digital input

As an aside, I have a modified Zhaolu 2.5 done by Tube Research Labs, that sounds fantastic. I actually sold
my Altmann Attraction DAC in prefererence to this. As far as the mods, they don't tell you what they do, and cover
their work with various goo. I think TRL is pure genious in terms of their digital mods for any DAC or cd player.
I would encourage anyone to inquire about modding any DAC you already like, then sit back and ENJOY the
musicality. I think they charge about $500 to mod a DAC. Anyone else have any TRL equipment or mods to report
on?

$500 to fix that thing!

I always seem to be in the wrong business at the wrong time.........

Maybe I should start making $1400 power supplies for $300 doo-hickeys.

Why not. The power supply is what we really listen to anyway. Heard the Oritek with a state of the art power supply which cost $500 to build. You will have to spend a lot of mulla to beat that combo IMO. Go for it, you might do quite well.

I can not think of any power supply, that size, that costs $500 to build.

There is a lot of stuff out there, that is highly touted, which has turned out to be nothing more than tarted-up OTS supplies.

Go ahead.......tell me they cost that much to build. Maybe they are worth that much to some of you guys. If so, I am in the wrong business.
