:D first, thanks to Al at RAW,and Denny at CustomConcepts. Two good guys that helped out with a word on shipping, part of their work they know well and informed me of the dangers and general cautions. If anyone is looking to move big audio cross the country, try Yellow Freight, they were the lowest cost, hope they work out!!,UPS was 300 bucks more.Lot of outfits flat out refused the work as i was not a business. So,they only work business too business only.I have laided out the work, now the fingers and toes are crossed, hoping the shipping goes without incident.Anyway, thks Al and thks Denny, good guy award for the day. :thumb:

Pat,

I used Yellow Freight with all of my AV123 speaker purchases and had no problems whatsoever.  As usual, though, with all of these shippers, it's the last 50 miles or so (the final driver) that can make all the difference.  A little $tip doesn't hurt either ;-)

Enjoy those SP monsters!

I have had MUCH success with Forward Air.  Super cheap to ship motorcycle engines, frames and other larger, heavy parts to cities in the US or Canada.

Downside is that YOU are on the hook for the final delivery, they ship airport to airport.

Upside was $50 for a motor to Cali...

When I import the Korato equipment, Forward Air is the carrier to get it here from Chicago.  I call customs, Forward Air sends them the paperwork and calls me when it's cleared.  Piece of cake.  Never had a problem with them.

Yes all the best in your new speakers and hope the shipping works out for you.
like I said sometimes you can get a airport to airport and the cost is not bad.
