Could i get some recommendations on the best tubes to use in the Modwright Sony 999ES SACD player.  Which 7119 (manufacturer and best dates) and also opinions on the Bendix 6900's?  I am using Tung-Sol 5687 from the mid 50's vintage.  Are these the best sounding tubes or should i explore the others listed above?  Thanks for any help and opinions.

I posted on another thread, but found Bendix 6900's to be the best cost no object all round tube. A pair of cryoed Tung Sol 5687 came very close to them at significantly lower cost, which is the way I would go again.  Tried about everything else.
