I know the question has been asked concerning the 4g iMod but how about the 5.5g iMod?  Would the 5.5g iMod work with the iTransport?

Hi slwiser,

As far as I know, only the newest generation iPods (6G) will work with the iTransport (in terms of getting the digital output).
