I used to be able to do it until something changed and that was a while ago. Now, when I enter the URL of my favorite radio station (WABE Atlanta), which is
http://www.publicbroadcasting.net/wabe/ppr/wabe.asxand enter it into the "Tune In" area, the window looks like it is playing but nothing actually plays (no sound). Further, the connection to my library gets dropped by doing this and I have to unplug the SB3 and power it back up in order to play my library. During all of this it always appears that it is playing the music (in the browser and on the SB3 display), whether radio or my library, but no sound.
I am not a gearhead so hopefully a reasonably easy explanation/fix is available. I am running 6.5.4 and firmware 15 using mgalusha's excellent FW selector for best audiophile quality. However, until I started trying to fix this, I was on 6.2.2 and I could swear the new server version is a bit more strident, yet I read that the firmware is what affects audio quality.
Please help...I would like to get more into internet radio but this is frustrating. If someone can point me to some useful threads that would be great. I did a bit of searching but not really finding what I need.
