[The Computer Audiophile]

Maybe this is old news to some, but I just heard the Beatles catalog is being remastered. Much of it for the first time in twenty years. It will be available in iTunes in the standard iTunes resolution and it looks like on CD in 16/44.1 as well.

   Hmmm.... remastered Beatles? I wonder if they are going to compress those to the max like most albums lately

   Great! Beatles at 128kbs... what's the world is  coming to?  If I had a choice I just can't imagine listening to those great songs at 128kbs

   Hope that this 128kbs will only be a stepping stone for the young generation for this old classic and hope that they will go out and buy at least full CD version (vinyl would be nicer)... uncompressed if there any

   Well, let's see if I will get flame for this..
