So I decided to test my tubes in my amps and it turns out my 5687 input tubes tested quite weak. I just replaced them not that long ago...I guess my amps are hard on them? Anyway, I am trying to avoid Parts Connexion because I didn't really have a great experience purchasing tubes from them the last time. Therefore, the only other source up here in Canada is the TubeStore. I like them but this is the only 5687 that they carry. Anybody, know anything about it? (what a drug out post for such a simple question)

The Tube Store is VERY good. I have ordered quite a bit from them. Much faster shipping than some places here in the States. Great to deal with.
I'm not familiar with that tube but give them a call.
Late 50's production for $12.95, pretty good.

I am not familiar with that tube either, but have had nothing but good dealings with The Tube Store for several purchases. I just bought a pair of 6922's from them last month. Brent Jesse is also highly recommended; a little pricey, but a solid dealer.

Yeah, you guys don't have to sell the Tubestore to me.  I have dealt with them before and they are excellent.  I like the fact that matching means matching to them....not close proximity.  Very well tested as well.
