Red Wine Audio is moving this week!
« on: 12 Feb 2008, 02:18 am »
All,

Finally... the big move is coming!  :hyper:  We'll be busy moving into a larger facility here in downtown Meriden, CT this week (Wednesday through Friday).  Our new address will be:

Red Wine Audio
50 High Street
Unit 2B
Meriden, CT 06450

(phone number will remain the same because we'll carry it over).

This will be updated on our website this week.

We needed the larger facility to accomodate a very large increase in demand for our products that we have experienced since the last quarter of 2007.

We are still very backlogged with Signature 30.2 and 70.2 orders (approx. 4 to 5 weeks), but decided that NOW is the time to move, as we are planning to go into production of the Isabella at the end of next month and want this move to be completed before things get even busier.  :o

Please bare with us during the next week or two as we move in, set up, and get back into the swing of things.  We'll try our best to respond to emails, phone calls, and post here on our forum in a timely fashion.

Thanks for all your continued support!  8)

Downtown - hope High Street is on high ground. Seem to recall a flood downtown a while back.

Best of luck.

Congratulations  :thumb:
All the moves you've made so far have been for the good.
Here's to hoping that its an easy commute from where you used to be.
Oh the fun you must be having.

:thumb:  Congratulations Vinnie! Here is wishing at least as much success if not more in your new location as you enjoyed in your old one.
A question; if by chance, a person sends a piece of equipment to the old address to be modified, will you still receive it?

Hey Guys,

Thanks for all your kind wishes with our move!

Hi ZLS,

Excellent question, and the answer is "YES."  Ideally, only the new address will be used going forward, but a package will still be recovered and brought to the new location if shipped to the old address.

Thanks again,

Vinnie

Arrgghhhh.... terrible weather in New England and I'm catching yet another bad cold (so is my daughter)!  :shake:  I can't seem to avoid germs lately! :banghead:

The move will probably happen later this week and into early next week...

Ah Mr Rossi, so young in the ways of the children, and yet to realize that:

Kids=colds.

Wait until your little one is all grown up (and 4 like my oldest of 2 daughers, younger is 2) and off to school where the little monkeys exchange the same darn cold for weeks on end!

Have fun with the move, never easy, and even more complex with the addition of a business, and a young family.

Take care my friend - if it is any consolation, there is at least as much snow up here in Canada...

Hi Mark,

Yes, I am learning!  :duh:

I don't think I'll be moving this week afterall.  This virus is keeping me weak and I don't think I want to push it (or should I say "lift it") and find myself in worse shape.

I'm going to do this big move next week... hopefully by then I'll have my strength and the weather will be better for this sort of thing.

In the meantime, I'll be here bangin' away at the backlog  :deadhorse:

Thanks,

Vinnie

success with growing business Vinnie

Plz remember your span of control will grow  together with yr business to a point
it becomes unbearable as you can only have
the same 24 hrs a day you always had
By then you will delegate tasks you were accustomed to do by yourself in order to ease the burden
and you will have to trust "strangers" at least others before this delegation process
and within a few years of expanding you will become a manager of "foremen "
and have created a culture, an organizational culture that will determine and control
the future development of yr organizational resources.
So design that culture carefully before it has designed itself.
Culture will always follow the founder of the organization
so design yr culture consciously with your deeds as culture will not be formed by words

Let the musicality of yr amps be a symbol of how yr company will be :D

avoid the the pitfalls of  becoming bigger and attract the right ppl you can trust as they trust you : )

The key of your success, Vinnie, is to stay yourself.
That what we are buying ; the certitude to have a product perfectly design by a strong and accurate personality.
So, as an investment, I ask you to take some time just for you and baby Isabella. I'm sure of the ROI.
All the best
serge

Hi Vinnie ~

Let me also wish you the greatest luck imaginable in your new digs.

I love the Signature 70.2... what is does for my music is pure magic.

Do take care of yourself, Vinnie... please give yourself permission to rest and regain your strength.

Warmest Regards ~ Richard

All,

Thank you for all your kind words and concern.

I have the flu, along with a double ear infection and now some strange stomach bug.  :?

I am trying to fight this off because I have a lot to do (especially make the move to the new building).
Being this sick reminds me how thankful I should be that I rarely get sick and have been working these past few years without such health issues.

I've been in bed a lot these last few days and can't do a whole lot, but tonight I had to get up, read some emails and post here... anything but be in bed!

I'll be back at it soon, guys.  Thanks for all your patience and understanding.

Vinnie

Hi Vinnie,

I too went from near-perfect health to chronic illness when I became a parent. I only got my health back when I started taking lots and lots of vitamins. You can check out the stuff that worked for me at http://www.emergenc.com/. I'm not associated with the company - just a very happy long-term customer.

Hey Vinnie:

Get better!  I remember when my daughter was that age, we
always had a cold too!!

Say, I sent my amp back to you for that refit.  Will you get
it before you move?  I forgot and sent it to the regular address...

Talk soon.

Issue 14 is up and being downloaded as we speak!
