I liked this little sucker so much, I'm moving up the JuicyMusic food (or is that fruit?) chain. One week old, two-year transferable warranty (Mark Deneen is a real person and a nice one at that), and extra tubes. Two inputs, one output, plus a tape in/out (which you can use for a third input if you like). One of the best features is that you can match gain to your sources and amp with separate controls for each channel, and then there's a stereo control to change volume with. Every preamp should come with this arrangement, IMO. Sound is clean, clear, firm and with that dusting of tube magic. It's quiet, too.
Comes with stock 6X4 and JAN Philips 6922. I'll throw in another 6X4 and a couple more 6922s. You'll get a NOS Tesla E88CC and a new Sovtek 6922.
List on this is $795. I'll sell for $640. That's 20% off an as-new, warrantied unit, and you get extra tubes to play with, not to mention free shipping in the lower 48.

www.enjoythemusic.com/magazine/equipment/1206/juicymusic_merlin.htmThis is a no-BS piece of equipment that delivers the goods at pretty close to an unheard-of price for a made-in-the-you-know-where high-end tube preamp. And it's purty, too, with walnut endcaps.
