I have never seen these for sale other than my pair - I am the second owner. These sold for $10K in 2005
http://web.archive.org/web/20050208195230/www.supratek.biz/poweramp.htmMick Maloney of Supratek built the Burgundy Mono Block amps approx. 3-4 years ago to provide those with not so efficient speakers the opportunity to experience the amazing performance of his SET designs, but the with control and "power" needed to make our speakers "sing." Boy, was he successful! The only reason he is no longer building these beauties as he puts it, in his own words, "I don't make any money selling these amps and they take too long to build. In the time it takes me to build the 4 chassis system, I could pound out 5 or more Cortese pres."
These amps use the wonderful 6C33 output tubes, resulting in a conservative 100W per channel rating. Mick had Philtron build to his specification the output transformer's which provide the widest bandwidth and transient response of any tube amp (maybe any amp) that I have heard - they have OTL type bandwidth to 200Khz , and the clean transparent sound of the low plate impedance 6C33C-B's.
You can drive them single-ended (RCA) or balanced (XLR). If you have very efficient speakers you can eliminate the modest feedback used in the circuitry with stellar results(in RCA it can be enabled or disabled). Using XLR input you will bypass the 1st gain stage(can remove the 6922 tube) resulting in even more transparency - you need a pre with about 6V XLR output for this and feedback is automatically eliminated. I used an Aesthetix Calypso which drove the amps perfectly in balanced mode.
These amps are beautiful to look at (Jarra wood) and richly rewarding in their sonics. You Supratek Pre owners don't know what you are missing by not having these amps driven by your Supra pre.
Another really nice benefit of these amps is that you can adjust the bias to suit your listening style - if you like a softer sound set the bias as low as 200mv - if you want a more aggressive sound they can be set up to 300mv. Biasing is simple with these. Their are +/- bias point's on the top panel for each of the push-pull 6c33 tubes. An added benefit is you don't need matched output tubes. The tube compliment per amp is a 6922, 2 6h30's, 2 6J5GT, and 2 6C33's - 5AR4 for seperate powersupply. The chassis(4) are solid copper with black powder coat. Very heavy duty solid copper outputs. The power supply connects to the amps via 32" umbilicle cords. All point to point wiring. Condition is 8-8.5. As you might know Supratek equipment is hand built so is not 100% perfect cosmetics wise but still very good. The only cosmetic fault is the corner of 1 powersupply - UPS damaged the front bottom corner. When the amps are in place you will not even see it. The quoted cost to replace the wood is $200. One of the transformer covers has a light scratch in its crinkle finish - not really noticeable either. I have the original shipping boxes but will double box with brand new super duty boxes. If you live anywhere near Jacksonville, FL you can come check them out.
Now, reason for selling? My music room is in my family room and the wife(me too) would like a less visually cluttered appearance(2 chassis mono or stereo amp) - 4 chassis' do take up a bit of space

Sound wise they can not be beat - I've tried with several amps including a 20K pair and sold them all.... The search is on

I will include several extra 6c33, 6J5, 6h30 tubes.
Paypal prefered - will split fee - shipping will be via DHL at buyers expense.
