BDA-1 'dual mono' ?
« on: 7 Feb 2008, 02:16 pm »
Just curious....

I see references to the BDA-1 being 'dual mono' when people are talking about the two DACs. Is it realy dual mono or are the DAC just doing different functions to the stereo signal?

As well, does the BCD-1 have the two chips? From what Iread, I don't see any reference to it but I know the BCD-1 shares the same DAC.

And lastely, for James, do you guys have any pictures of the inside of the BDA-1?

Hi Keith,

Yes the BDA 1 is dual mono all the way through.  Dual power supplies - dual DAC's - dual circuitry etc.

No shots of the inside yet- we are still making small changes.
