I can't believe how many people are now using the
RM40 as a CENTER Channel.
Have a
5.1 RM40 system leaving for Florida late this, or early next week.
If you are serious about
HT, the
center speaker and the
SUB are
THE most important speakers.
Even if all you have are 4 626jr's the RM40 used for a center would put you most of the way to SOTA (state of the art) in Home Theater.
Good news was, Brian offered the RM40jr on a limited basis to cabinet stock on hand, and some of you took advantage of it (I know I did) and some even went with the
RM40 as a center.
Bad news is, there are only 3 RM40jr's left.One is a DORNE Dibble "unfinished" cabinet for
$1499, plus
$199 to paint it the color of your choice. No Wilson, Aerial, or any other of the LARGE Centers I can think of can match that performance to Price.
This is the most rigid cabinet "EVER" built as an RM40. I would estimate (from moving two pair personally) that they weigh well over 270# if not 300.

BIG SOUNDING films will blow right through you as you sit there in the "physicality" of the sound.
