Single Ended SV811-10 monoblocks with outboard power supply.
Recently built by a friend of mine (who also built my tube amp). Nearly new. Not fully broken in.
6EM7 input tubes. All tubes included.
Nominally, 8 - 10 watts per channel, though to me it sounds BIG for a 10-watt SET. Very quiet background.
Power supply chassis supplies DC for the plates and AC for the filament transformers. (Filament current is rectified and filtered on the monoblock chassis.) One switch turns on the filaments, the other turns on the plates; so that tubes can be warmed before plate voltage is applied.
Based on Eric Barbour design. Documentation included.
Amps built with large solid state choke power supply. Choke is by Chicago Transformer Company, 12 Henry.
Custom-made power transformer, filament transformers, and output transformers.
Huge power supply capacitance. Unusually solid bass response for a single-ended.
High-grade resistors and caps and sockets. Instrument-grade binding posts with Lexan body. IEC socket. Teflon umbilical cables.
$1450. Shipping cost included.
