Who would want to purchase Exact Power EPDS here is the retail price:

I would not. My felix costs less than $70.00.

true but that is the price pro outlet
the ecd has 5 outlets filtered that way
that would make 350  and has 3 extra outlets with other functions and a sophisticated enclosure
so make that 400$

so the price difference (150$) is very very reasonable, no?

the ecd has a different filter characteristic than the p3717-A it looks like it will continue filtering higher freq up
at least from their graph. It does not suggest the filter will stop filtering at higher freqs like the 3717 is doing?

Well, I am corrected

The Coilcraft graphs suggest no such thing. Please learn to distinguish between technical graphs showing the behavior of an inductive element alone under specified conditions and a marketing crap. The fact that the ExactPower uses a linear frequency stopping at 500kz under unspecified loads does suggest quite a bit though.
