IIRC, the standard rooms at RMAF are about 13x19'

Bryan

Thank you, Bryan.  If anyone else has been to a show anywhere and you remember the rooms size please post.

I always heard that it wasn't how big your room was, but what kind of equipment + room treatments you had and how you used them that mattered most.

My unfinished basement is 25x35 so the square footage is 875.  The ceiling (to the bottom of the joists above) is 7.5, so the cubic space is 6500 or so.

My issue is that when I finish it, it will end up around 24x26x7.25.  I am somewhat worried about the square shape, but my tremendous desire to have a pool table will require the shape to be that way.  The only saving grace is that I might install a bathroom and closet down the 24 wall, so if may end up more like 19-20x26.

Oh, if it's not WAF, it is one of my OTHER hang ups!  I guess I better enjoy the sound while I can!

"L" shaped room, but the 'bowling alley' from seating area to viewing screen is 12' wide X 23' long.
The left rear has the leg, which is about 11'X12', or thereabout.

So we'll call it about 408ft2.

My room widens in the back third and opens into another room but the basic listening area/home theater is 11 feet x 22 feet.
