The sound is pretty good but software needs a lot of work and the heatpipe has to be reworked (arrggg, it was blocking the internal HD connector, contractor mistake).

Our new target shipping date is mid April.  We will have samples for distributors to review early March.

As a NuFORCE dealer, I have been bugging Jason to death about this having recently dumped my OLIVE Musica, (who dumped ALL their dealers :nono:) I really miss the capabilities you get used to.

Can't wait to get my hands (and ears) on one. :drool:

OMG, UK release the pics? We have issues with the software and might be considering releasing just the hardware, or pre-configured it other software.

If it's the one I'm thinking about.  Looks like a double height Ref 9.

Would it be a good idea to have a version to run Squeezecenter (which is open source)?

The photo that UK distributor showed is not the actual production MSR-1. See below:



The front and back are mirror finished and the logo is laser etched so from different angles, it reflects different color (the image is showing a blue tinted color from the camera angle).
This is a PC motherboard with enhanced AV outputs. So you can install Linux or Windows. EAC (Exact Audio Copy) is the gold standard for error free CD ripping. To run it in Linux, you can install WINE.
Squeezecenter is the standard and wildly popular open source music server that we can install on the MSR-1.
MSR-1 is fanless and in the same form factor as other mono amps.
We are still not so sure of releasing this product and we might make a pilot production.  If anyone who is very hands on and don't mind doing his own setup (we won't provide software support), email salesteam and we can offer the hardware at very reasonable cost. This offer is for US customers only and for a limited time.
It took me only a few hours to install Linux, Wine and EAC to start tripping a CD.
