Hugh (or GK-1R owners),
I can't remember (and can't find in my huge stack of GK-1R print-outs) how to set the default source selection when the GK-1R is powered up.  I want Source = AUX(HT) and HT Bypass = ON. 

What's the secret handshake???

Hey Peter!

That one is simple - even I can answer this!!

Switch it on, then hold the button default you choose for five seconds - that's it!

Thereafter it will always default to that choice....

Hi Hugh,

Is this only for the most recent version of the chip firmware ... which I think you released mid 2007?  Or will this work for my several-years old GK-1R?

Hi Andy,

This is Version 2.4, issued about two years ago......

If you want the latest, you will need to get the latest chip, which you can get on swap for $AUD16.50, from memory!
