There is a piece of software one can buy for $100, which can be used to make 24bit/192khz UNLOCKED DVD-A format DVD Audio discs.

With this software and this device and a computer, of course..one can make insanely good sounding copies of their analog discs.

And in the process, with regards to sonic quality, blow every other digital 'source' quality completely out of the water.

I have the 0202, still in the box one year later...and have yet to get around to using it. Gotta get at it now.

This indeed is a wonderful equipment. I moved to a new apt recently, and had to reposition the PC...and cannot run a lengthy USB cable or long interconnects across the room to connect the 0404 to my main audio rig.

I'll throw in for free a pair of gold radioshack RCA-to-TS connectors which can be used to connect the device to your audio rig with regular rca cables.
