This is a very nice device for those of you with tonearms terminating in a DIN fitting.  You attach this to your DIN male fitting on your tonearm, and it now will terminate in rca's....so that you can choose any interconnect of your choosing.

Otherwise, you are limited to the rather small selection of (oft pricey) phono cables that are dedicated to this task.  The reason this is available is that I got the stupid-disease and bought one of these pricey cables - so this is spare to my needs now.

This little box lists for a silly $270.00 (US or Canada)....the lowest price seen is $229.00 on it.  Cardas must be making a mint on this thing.....it's not but a foot of wrapped interconnects, a nicely machined aluminum slab (with two grounding nuts) that the wiring is soldered to and a 3' length of small gauge magnet wire. The slab is nicely made, at least, but $270 for this thing? Nahhhhh.

Mine came in a combo of items I bought a couple months ago so $100.00 is all I want for it.  It works fine - there really is relatively nothing for it not to work. If you have a DIN termination on your tonearm, this will work and give you flexibility in choices.
