I have been very surprised by the sound of this DIY project.  I have to say, it compares nicely to my AV-3's until around 80Hz.  These little guys are only 6 1/2" X 11" on the front baffle.

Give Orb speakers a try. These tiny speakers have big and full sound that will put Bose into shame. They also offer 30 days in home trial. Price is very reasonable and customer service is excellent too.

Well, just placed an order a set of these in their hand polished steel finish.  They'll be paired with my old JVC F-10 digital amp, look forward to getting everything up and running.  Finally I'll have a working system on my main floor!

Thank you for the recommendation.  :thumb:

WOW!!! I can't believe you waited a year before you bought something!

Please tell us what you think of 'em.

My favorite tiny speaker is the Linn Kan.  They sound very good without a sub.  But, they are transformed when mated with a decent sub.

I agree with several prev posters that the NHT Zeroes are great sounding "tiny" speakers.

Another top choice for small speakers is Piega (but they are harder to find).
