[Big Red Machine]

Still buring music to my external hard drive for use with the SB.  I have a laptop and was going to run a 15 foot USB cable from my chair to the HD so it was not contributing noise to my listening.  But with the cable hanging off the laptop it is not totally ideal.  Has anyone had success linking the laptop to the external HD using one of those wireless USB hub set-ups?  Any sound quality loss?  Any hiccups?

Pete - I seem to recall Steve Nugent commenting on these offerings over in the Empirical Circle at one time.  Did a search and didn't come up with it, so he might have dumped it.  If I recall he deemed it promising but not ready for prime tiime.  Have you considered just putting your SlimCenter on its own server somewhere else?  I use an old laptop with ClarkConnect Linux.  Tom
