Song title help - I have the first 2 lines....

Song title help - I have the first 2 lines....

A co-worker is looking for the title of a song. He thinks it is from the late 70s and is a southern rock style song. It might be a local band from STL but I don't know.

The first two lines are

The night was black
The moon was no where to be seen

I am clueless but I figured someone here could help me out

WHAT!!! 16 minutes to identify some obscure song from the 70's and your complaining!!!  :lol: Next time use Alta-vista search instead you will get their faster
