I used to visit Audiogon quite frequently. I no longer do since I discovered AC. Its primary value is as an audio marketplace--as many have said--its the only game in town. I now use it almost exclusively for buying and selling and I always try AC first. I now use AC like I used to use Audiogon.

I read their forums for ideas and research.  I post infrequently -- mostly to ask a question.  I have bought from members there with no problems.  If I had to sell something, I would prefer to sell it here first, but in all honesty, it would probably sell over there much faster.

audiogon exists foremost as a marketplace. i am constantly amazed at how fast i can sell something there, usually in a couple HOURS. i have never met a bad person there either, a bunch of great guys in my experience. that having been said, this sight IMO is mostly a forum sight and a great source of info. also great people here too. two different animals.

I'm glad a lot of you have responded.  I really just needed to vent.  I'll probably continue to all three sites as I do now, oh, I can't forget the Klipsch forums also.  One thing that I didn't originally mention that I just thought of while writing this is that I love the immediate posting of what you write (both here on AC, AA, and the Klipsch forum).  It really is the worst to wait for "4-8hrs on most days" to get something posted on A'gon and on top of that, it may or may not make it depending on the screwed up censorship over there.
