Can I listen to FLAC files on an iPod?

I know it won't do it natively, but is there any third party software or tools that will allow FLAC files to play on an iPod?

Rockbox George.  There are lots people on here with expertise using Rockbox, all the Red Wine Audio guys I believe.

Check out Rockbox at www.rockbox.org

I've used this alternate operating system to play FLACs on a couple of different iPods, plus it has some fairly powerful features and customization options.  However, not all iPods are supported and none of the new models as far as I know.

I already looked there but it won't handle any of the newer iPods.
