Interesting: http://www.mglaudiolabs.com/products/symphony.htm
A Class D amplifier, preamplifier included (with digital volume control), and a linear power supply for the SB3 all included. Kinda  cool  :o. All you need is an SB3 + this Symphony amplifier, and a set of speakers. Done.

Anand.

Really interesting product, though I've never heard of them and wonder who they are.  The I2S and word clock functions, as well as SB3 power are really nice.  Unfortunately, the Duet's going to need 9V instead of 5V.  I like having some digital input switching - USB, I2S, SPDIF, Optical, etc. to hook up all the alternatives to the CDP I have now - SB2, Airport Express from PC's, and PC's direct via USB.

Quite unique.  Hopefully a sign of more products like this hitting the market to address the variety of digital sources.

To aid in the "lifestyle" concerns a matching PC with backup hard drive would be nice.  As the duet has moved the display to the remote, the receiver case can be replaced to match (and leave more room for mods).

For computer based only audio systems, the slickest is still an Olive with active (powered) speakers.  Now with the improved Duet remote/receiver design hopefully Olive will follow suit with an even better remote (longer battery life between recharges and alpha search function).
