On my side I am happy because two mexican guys finished 1-2 in the CART racing today in Miami...

So not all in Mexico is crime, poverty, etc... There are also hard working and talented guys...

I actually found the qualifying more fun...you get to walk around, look at different parts of the track....The race from the main straighaway can get a little boring, thank goodness they have the jumbo screens.....

I do think some of the fans are a little over the top...my girfriend got popped in the nose with a Ferrari flag,,,and I was getting quite annoyed...standing up for 2 hrs to see a car screaming at 180+ mph and waving the flag, is a bit too much for me.

I like the speed, the skill, the technology and so on,,,I just cant get into rooting for a particular team, because I dont find the emotional connection. If Fangio was driving, that would have been different...

Klaus...sorry I didnt get to call you,,,I had your number programmed in my cell, and the battery went kaput!
