I've a pair of ~6 month old Selah Audio SSR/RS180 speakers on sale for $1500.

As can be seen from the pics below (there are more images of these in my gallery), the top section is a sealed SSR (with upgraded premium cross over), and the bottom section is a dual Dayton RS180 woofers powered by 300w BASH amplifier. I don't have to say anything more than what is already written about SSR. They are wonderful wonderful speakers. The cross over to the dual sub is set at 65Hz, and the sub easily goes down to below 30Hz!

The cabinets were built by a local cabinet maker. They have caramelized bamboo veneer with real walnut trims. Together they look as good as they sound! 

I'm moving to a different apartment by January end, and am looking to sell this before then. I do not have any boxes and would greatly appreciate local pickup (Dallas Area). But i can ship, if i absolutely have to. They'll ship in 4 boxes though, so shipping can get expensive.

Very nice!  I'd love to have them, but I'm in Tucson and you're right, what with getting boxes (double boxes?) and shipping, that would get expensive, not to mention the risk of damage.

Out of curiosity, what is the height of the tweeter?

I'm sure being in a large market like Dallas/FW, as soon as the dust settles over Christmas activities, someone local is going to snap up these beauties and get a great deal!

Very Nice.  I thought I saw one other SSR/bass bin set up as well.

I have  a pair of SSR in the PE gloss Black 1 cubic foot (28L) enclosures.

Are your SSR's in a sealed 1ft3 enclosure? and are the Bass Bins in a
similarly sized enclsoure?  They appear to be about the same size as mine.

So a 300Watt bash amp fits on the backside...interesting.

Yup .. they are a great pair of speakers, and whoever gets them will be in for a real treat.

Both the sections are sealed and are housed in .7 ft3 boxes (internal volume). I thought of buying the PE/Madisound boxes, but i was too taken by Bamboo veneer. So decided to just get them built.

The speakers are 19"x12.5"x9" each, and the middle of the tweeter is about 38" from the ground. The base and the spikes add some extra height. I bought some cool 3" tall brass cones so that i could boost their height a couple of inches more, but need to figure out how best to attach them since the brass cones are actually plump bob

Somebody's going to get a deal.  That's a nice price for a quality setup even if it was in plain black ash.

Well, I currently have it in my second bedroom that is about 11x13 ... and they sound great in here. You can adjust the bass such that it doesn't overpower the room.
