8th Nerve Adapts
« on: 19 Dec 2007, 06:07 pm »
My wife has asked me to declutter the listening room, aka "her living room." HA! The nerve!!  But she is such a patient, tolerant and good wife, how can I refuse? First on her list was "those panels." :( I knew it was coming, I held it off for a long time. I will have other items coming up for sale in the next few days so that "her guest bedroom," aka my equipment storage room, can actually host a guest again.

So... I am begrudgingly selling my 8 rectangles and 7 triangles. They are all version 2, white, 9 months old, perfect condition. I have all the hardware, instructions, and original packaging to ship them safely to you. New Rectangles cost $250 each, triangles $175. Retail value $3225. These have same performance as the current Version 3. Nathan's invention really works well. Read some threads on his circle to find out more. Sadly, WAF forces this sale. $1500 for the whole lot with free shipping. Or $125 per rectangle and $100 per triangle + shipping.

Oh Rich, how I wish I could help you :-).  Exactly the kit I need -- 3 tris and 4 rects.

Just no money.

I bought an assorted few of these from Rich last week. Good condition, and a smooth transaction all the way around. Thanks Rich!

Whoever decides to snatch the remainder of these ADAPTS will not be disappointed in the results.  I have 4 triangles and 7 rectangles installed in my dedicated listening room.  I have had them for over 1 year never any issues. To say that these room treatments work is an understatement. Honestly I cannot imagine any serious listening of recorded music without some kind of room treatments. Definitely one should treat the issues in their listening room before trying new components, cables, etc..
Otherwise you will never experience what your audio system can amount to.IMHO...

Do you still have any rectangles?  I'd like two.

Thanks guys. I agree, they are all they're claimed to be. I would purchase them again when I can move the stereo out of the living room.

I have one rectangle and three triangles left. Almost gone!
Thanks!

Brad I PMed my phone number to you. Or you can just PM your zip code and include your email address, because my PM replies don't seem to be getting through?
Thanks

OK, just three triangles left. $100 plus shipping for each. If you buy all three I will ship for free. Price for brand new triangles is $175.

If you listen in a smallish rectangular room, sit in your listening chair and look up in the corners at those giant horn speakers aimed right at you. Sound gets in by normal radiation and is reflected and amplified by the giant three walled sheetrock horn pointed right at you. What kind of music are they playing? BAD music! Better shut them up! That's the 8th Nerve triangle concept - and it works! Check Nathan's website for better explanation.
Thanks
