A friend of my mother's are bankers in New York and they own a pair of $15,000 B&O speakers, probably the next model up I guess, they're ICE powered.  Not bad sounding, basically omni-directional and very spacious soundstage, but also not something I would trade my current setup for.

Yep, those big B&O speakers were way better than I expected them
to be when I got a chance to hear them.  I agree with IL, not my
choice but quite good. 

And you have to remember that not everyone wants a big pile of
gear and cable loom in their house...

German Physics are on the way after CES, so we'll see about that
and the MBL big system is quite awesome.  Best thing I heard
at CES last year...

We're getting them in for review....

We are also gettign the Avalon Isis speakers this spring.
Pretty stoked about both of them.

Listened to the big B&O's at the mall last night.
Again, not bad at all!

The B&W speakers are absolutely hideous.  (Plus, I've never heard a B&W speaker I liked -- they tend to need to have their tweeters covered with a layer of insulation for me; they're way too bright.)  I reviewed these again and can't see a set of speakers that I like the looks of.  I really don't think any of them are "sexy".
