This is almost too good to be true! I saw these guys as a little kid in 1975 and couldnt believe what I was hearing. They made even the best prog. sound almost ....pedestrian, in comparison.

"The flight of newborn" is one of my favorite jazz-rock compositions. After all those years it still sounds so exciting! Looking forward to hear them again.

 Thanks for this info. I am a big fan also, I have seen them about 5 times in the 70s and this is great, great news. Real music performed by real musicians! I got to talk to Lenny last summer when they came to town and asked him if the will ever get back together and he said, there is talk but at that time nothing was for sure. That alone was enough that made me think we will see them again. An now it is true!

I'm all over this. I heard the announcement a bit ago at a Rite Of Strings show (Al, Stanley, Jean-Luc Ponty), and have been waiting for more info ever since. Nice to see it on Chick's page. I'll go twice if I can.

Stanley and Lenny still looks and sound tight...heard them play within the past year. CHick looks a little mushy and haven't heard him play in a decade. Dunno about Al  :dunno:

Wow, Rite of String Show would have been awesome. Do you know if they are scheduled for any more?
