All,

I apologize for a little delay in responding to posts here on the RWA forum.  I have been completely bombarded with orders for the Signature 30.2, 70.2, as well as the Sig 30 and 70 upgrades to the 30.2 and 70.2. 

Realistically, I am around 4 weeks backlogged at the moment.  I am trying my best to speed this up as I grow Red Wine Audio for 2008 (looking into a new facility and new employees as I can really use the space and the help). 

Emails and phone calls/messages are also keeping me very busy.  I am trying my best to respond to everyone as quickly as possible.

Thank you for all your support and patience during this very busy time for us!

I, for one credit Mr. Vinnie Rossi for his honesty.  There is no "The dog ate my homework",no my suppliers ran off to
Rio with my money,  etc, etc.  Vinnie takes full responsibility for the delay informs his customers about it and puts a realistic time frame on delivery.  I personally learned a long time ago that no one is in a hurry for an amp that does not work. 
    I believe this comes under the category of growing pains; perhaps the answer is that Vinnie stop making such good sounding equipment!

His example is something other small vendors ought to follow instead of taking payment and going underground for months at a time.  Vinnie is proof that a smart man can have good business sense.  He's got a nice kid too.  Wish he'd keep the pictures coming...

Lead-times for the 30.2 and 70.2 are in the 3 to 4 week range.  Once we move into our new facility here in Meriden, CT, we will have more space, more workers, and will work hard to keep the lead-times down. 

If you are looking for a Signature 30.2 (with built-in volume control) immediately, I just shipped ALO Audio (our Portland, OR dealer) a few so get them while you can!

I just took delivery of my 30.2!
I live in Norway so I ordered it through Tim at the Swedish rep. It’s a Deal (www.itsadeal.se) who handled the transaction perfectly!

Since I am between systems right now, I had to bring it over to my friend’s house to find something to hook it up to. Well, the only speakers available there were a pair of Maggie 1.6. As far as I remember they have an impedance curve like Grand Canyon, and they go down to below 2 ohms. My main objective was only a functional test to check that it had survived the transport from the US through Sweden to Norway. Fed by an Esoteric DV-50 player and a Lector Zoe tube pre, we gently turned up the volume... and kept listening for three hours. This is probably an extreme mismatch, but up to normal listening levels the 30.2 actually sounded better than the 200W American transistor power-amp it just displaced from the rack!!

This is an exceptional product! Well made, user friendly, and if it sounds this good driving something it is not supposed to, I can not wait for the next chapter.

Thank you for your post!  I have actually listened to the Signature 30.2 with a pair of Magnepan MG-12 speakers and in a small/medium sized room, the results were exceptional!  aa

I am glad to hear that you had a flawless transaction with Tim at It's a Deal and I am very pleased to have him as the Swedish rep. for Red Wine Audio products!
