Ok, so it was a private party and the band were friends of mine.....not exactly like getting called up on stage by Jimmy Page, but it was still pretty neat. I've played at guitar jams, but never w/ a band. Did a couple of old Beatles and Eagles tunes on the acoustic and felt like I held my own. I wanted to rip some Green Day or Priest or the like but the singer didn't know the lyrics.
Playing music is the most fun hobby I've ever had. Definitely gives me a new appreciation for all sorts of music when I listen.
