Queensryche Coming to Town!
« on: 20 Sep 2003, 03:40 am »
I just read in the paper that Queensryche is coming to the Washington Pavillion next month.  What a bit of nostalgia:  they're the first concert I ever went to, back when they opened for AC/DC on the "Who Made Who" tour.  They were awe inspiring (not that Angus & company were chopped liver...), one of the best I've seen to this day.

Now, I know they've had a lot of sucky albums (well, pretty much everything after Empire), and I haven't heard their new one, "Tribes" yet.  Still, hopefully they'll do some of the Classics, like Queen of the Ryche", "Blinded", "Walk in the Shadows" & "Suite Sister Mary."

Cool, you gonna see them?  I saw them about a year after Empire.  I really enjoy Operation Mind Crime.

I have seen them twice.  They are a tight group.  You have to tell me if he can still sing the high note in 'Take hold of the flame'.  The last time I saw them he wasn't able :singing:
