Up for sale are my Marchand XM1 active crossover modules, including the power supply module. Here is a picture showing the modules in my preamp chassis. (Only the Marchand modules are for sale, not the chassis, or anything else inside it.)
On the right is the power supply module. It can be wired for 120VAC or 240VAC input. Output is +/- 15VDC, 250mA each rail.
To the left are the crossover modules. Two are needed for stereo operation. The crossover frequency cannot be adjusted on-the-fly. It is set by means of a resistor block that must be inserted into the board. You can see the resistor block just below the orange capacitors, between the two opamps. The resistor block is not soldered on to the board, rather it is inserted into an IC socket, exactly like an IC. At the moment, the crossover frequency is set for 100Hz. I do have the resistors needed for 80Hz and 120Hz crossover frequencies. Each module provides a “high” and a “low” output.
In my system, I fed the “high” output to my mains amplifier powering a set of Fostex 207Es. The “low” output was supplied to the plate amplifier of a powered subwoofer.
You will need to do some work to get a functional crossover – wiring up the AC input, powering the crossover modules, wiring the input and output jacks etc. Depending on your system, you might need level controls at the output of the crossover.
