Hi all,

Finally got all my gear connected though not tuned.

Curious to know about sensitivity settings on the amps - should i set them to 1v?

Regards,

Julie

Hi Julie,

Yes 1 Volt unless there is too much gain in the system.

and more importantly - spend about $50 smackers and get yourself and SPL meter if you don't already have one and then properly level match your 5 channels at the listening position.

You actually can get one for about half that:

I haven't gotten or seen their SPL meter but their brand multimeter I got was 1st rate and it cost me $2.99 on sale.  Does everything my RS multimeter does and more.  I'm due to take a ride to one of their retail stores (sometimes sale prices are a drop different vs. online) and I'm going to see if they have one I can look at (I was there about 6 mos. back and did not see it but they have so many tools I lost track of what I was looking for).
