Anybody else having trouble with FreeDB?
« on: 12 Dec 2007, 12:01 am »
Can't seem to connect to FreeDB tonight.  When it does, it throws a server error and can't find any data.  I can go to the site directly.  Everything seems OK but I can't get into the forum either.

Anybody else?

Bryan,

It has been up and down for me lately.

I need to rip some newly purchased cd's (REM, Clapton, SRV) and will try to do that in the next few hours.

I'll let you know if it is working or not.

I had a bunch of problems last week, then found some help by searching

Try either one of these two servers

http://freedb.musicbrainz.org:80/~cddb/cddb.cgi

They work better for me

Thanks Randy.  That first one is what I was using and wasn't working.

George - it's up for me now too.  Must have just been a server glitch.
