I like the 83803 and use a pair on my odyssey mono extrems, which don't mean that i am not going to up grade to black sands as soon as $ allow. As you said the 83803 is VERY stiff so you need to take that into consideration with you setup.
I have Power Plus AC Bulk Cable from dh labs http://www.audioc.com/ i use on a cdp with good results very flexable so you can get it in tight places. Now if i had a choice i would use the Belkin wire as i like it very much but if i had tight constraint and did not have an RF problem the DH labs is nice and easer to work with. all cords are in nylon mesh for protection

What bulk cable would you consider for my Marinco plugs .I have trouble deciding if I should use Teflon  Belkin 83803,3 conductor with shield or a more flexible 2 conductor variant the Belkin 83802 with an outer ground wire wrapped around the outside that some say are better or the copper silver plated DH labs 3 conductor unshielded?

Anybody else interested in a group buy?  I'd be in for it if others are and of course, if Black Sand is willing to do one.

Black Sand isn't willing to do Group Buys, I asked.  :| My suggestion is you talk directly with John. As for this thread, it should be dead by now, per the author's finishing post. Any discussion of DIY cords will get better answers in the Lab Circle, not in the Accessories for sale circle. FWIW

Cheers & Happy New Year,
Robin

Nothing for the do it yourselfers on this site? :(

Sure there is,,,,,, http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?board=20.0

The technical side of audio. How and why our equipment works, construction, and DIY.

There should be many more replies to your questions there in a much more knowledgable place than you'll get in a for sale site,, I hope it works out better for ya.  :thumb:

Cheers,
Robin

Robin,

Perhaps John currently is not willing to do a Group Buy. However, he did do one previously in 2007 that seemed pretty successful, click here for link.

Peace,

Dave B.

Well that figures Dave,, a day late and a dollar short,,,   I dunno, I just relayed what I was told, I didn't ask why. Things change,, especially in this industry, that much i do know.  :)

Let's not start getting political now,,, all tho this thread needs to be trashed anyways. The author bowed out a long time ago.
