New Audiophile Website
« on: 6 Dec 2007, 07:57 pm »
Hi everyone, I just started my own site that is all about music servers / computer based audiophile products and music. I am a huge fan of tube gear and music mastered on tube gear (Analogue Productions releases) and everything vinyl as well. But, with the new high quality instant downloads available in 24 bit / 96KHz quality, the world is changing. The sight just launched November 20th, 2007 so please don't knock me for lack of content yet. I am sleeping very little trying to get things going. I have setup forums and hope to have a community that can fill a huge gap on the web right now. There is very little consolidated information about computer based audiophile gear and music downloads (24/96 etc...) Please consider posting in my forums and let me know if you would like to write any articles or reviews to be published. Thanks everyone!

Drupal is awesome! I spent many months developing the site with Joomla, but never got what I wanted out of it. So, I tried Drupal and love it. I actuall like the basic default theme. It is simple to read and there are no distractions.

Great site!

Interesting news on iTunes 7.5 too.  Sounds like it's pretty much broken for OSX at the moment.  Does Apple really care?

Thanks for this,

Tom

Thanks Tom!

Not sure if you saw the updates at the bottom of my article, but apparently Apple will be updating iTunes by the end of the year and "possibly" this week. According to them the update will fix the problem. I'll believe it when I see it.

iTunes has a great interface and some really nice features, but I wish a software company would produce the ultimate app for large libraries and audiophile quality listening. I have been searching for a while but have not found anything for OS X that is worthy of a switch from iTunes.
