Selling my Omega super 3 XRS Hempcones in Macassar Ebony. In a fit of rage it has been decided that I'm going to whittle down my overbearing and space consuming mish mosh of equipment. Now, bear in mind, the fit of rage I speak of wasn't mine - alas, it was "The Boss' ".
I've accumulated far too much equipment and with most of it residing in our living room much of it must go.
On to the product please! Ok, so a fairly new set of Super XRS' for sale - I personally have only put 4 hours of listening time and the original owner only placed less than 50 according to his statements.
So, more than probably these will still need break-in time. I can say however, that I would have to agree. I had them set up in my living room face to face playing out of phase with the XLO break-in track on repeat for an afternoon after my initial listening and can say that they have improved.
They do STILL NEED more hours on them as I noted that some passages would sound amazing and others sounded "shouty" which indicated to me that more break-in was required.
At the moment, I just don't have the time to have them breaking in on my tube gear - I don't have any SS gear that I can use to do this (let me rephrase this, any gear that The Boss will allow in the living room).
Long story short - I'm asking SOLD for a quick and painless sale. I'm located in the SF bay area for local pick up/meet/delivery. I have all the packing and shipping materials, manual, floor spike etc. I have excellent A'gon feedback here:

Cosmetic rating a solid 8/10 I will conservatively rate them 7/10 as there is a small blemish on the back side on one speaker. The grills are in excellent condition as are the hempcone drivers.

If I can add one comment about the "sound" which I wasn't expecting, they do produce a very surprising amount of low end punch. I had them 6 ft into my room and at least 4 ft away from the nearest wall - the size of my living room? Get this - 17x20x21 ceilings - these speakers could put out in this room. Impressive to say the least!
