Hi,

Has anyone tried to use the EMU alongside an external DAC?

I have been using this external soundcard to feed the candela preamp and khartago mono amps. But when i try to connect the optical outputs of this soundcard to the input of paradisea DAC, i don't hear any sound.

The manual seems to suggest that i can use optical outputs only if i feed optical data into this soundcard. Is this really the case?

Found the answer -

Basically you have to do a patch loop from the analog output to the analog input.
