Can I modify the Bugle power supply for use with Piccolo?

How to do this?  Would this be an improvement over the Piccolo wallwart?

Yes, the +15V (or +12V) from the BUGLE power supply works great for the PICCOLO.  I don't know if this is any improvement.  Certainly could be with noisy or wandering power line voltage.

I assume that batteries will sound better than the wallwart?  Is this the typical experience?

Instead of using 4 alkaline batteries, is there any reason why not to use 5 NiMh (1.2V * 5 gives 6V)?
