Pinging James with question on amps

James,

Call me crazy, but I noticed a significant improvement in openness and clarity of sound when I accidentally placed a heavy object on one of my 7B SST amps.
I am thinking of placing bags filled up with sand on top of amps, will it present a problem with overheating if I close perforation on the top cover of the amps?

Hi Sasha,

I do not think it sould be a problem as long as the heatsinks on the sides are not covered.
