For those Head-fi'ers who are going bonkers by now, I've set up a temporary forum here:

http://stereo-untypical.com/temp-fi/

Please pass the word along.

A Dilbert-esque fiasco.  Basically, the backups were on the same piece of hardware as the Head-fi server, and when the RAID controller went tits-up they both got fubar'd.  The off-site backup was over a year old, so they spent the last 2+ weeks trying to rebuild the corrupted database.  They got most of it restored, but a bunch of stuff is still likely gone for good.
