Monoprice sell a 6' cable for $4.79. I have bought many items from Monoprice, excellent place. Usually ships next day.http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10240&cs_id=1024009&p_id=2412&seq=1&format=2Mark
I do have a Bluejean HDMI cable as well and to me, they are both excellent. I see no difference from a picture perspective between either cable, but have stuck with Monoprice because they are less expensive. To my understanding when dealing with HDMI cables, theoretically, a difference between various cables shouldn't exist as the signal is digital and the signal either gets from point a to b, or it doesn't. One exception, if a person had a long HDMI cable run, they may want a larger gauge cable. The very expensive cables that are now touting 1080P and deep color are usually no improvement over the "cheap" cables for distances that are less than 3 meters. Here is a good read... http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=794088Mark
When I first got my HDTV, I cheaped out and bought those under 12$ monocables...hey I didn't want to buy the over-priced Monsters the box stores peddle. THis was for my cable box which had DVI to my TV which has HDMI, and it was ok, I got a good picture, better than the component connection. But I found the DVI and HDMI connectors looked and felt kinda cheap, the plating on the metal parts looked skimpy. I found a Belkin Pure AVseries DVI-HDMI for a reasonable price...I heard some say there are no difference with HDMI cables, the 10$ cable will perform the same as the 50-100$, well that's not what I found...If you are in the US, PM me your address, I will send you the cheap cable and I will even pay the postage.
