Jim and others.....I plan to use my own 4 position three pole switch so I can run 4 inputs into the Clarinet chassis.  I will run the three pole output of this switch to just one of the input lines on the circuit board.

These get back to the selector switch portion of the circuit board.  I can eaily find the positives for right and left and can jumper these directly to my Dale/Vishay stepped attenuator.  I am wondering about the ground.

Do I need to strap the ground from the input section of the board or is the ground continuous so I can pick it up from the volume section on the board?

I should have this up and running this weekend.  I am very excited.  It has upgraded Vitamin Q and Dynamicaps as well as nude Vishays in the circuit, Mills wire wounds on anything B+ and Kiwamis for the rest.  The electrolytics were upgraded as well using Panasonic TSHA on the H+ and Panasonic ED for the 47uf 450 volt caps.

These Hagerman boards are the best.  I think this circuit design is simply superb and the layout of the board is excellent.  Thank you Jim for such an outstanding kit.   :thumb:

You can pick up the ground for inputs from either the volume pot (if used) or near the socket of first tube.
